LANYON 
MURAL

  In my final year of college, I created an Art piece dedicated to former local artist Peter Lanyon. 
I wanted the piece to be on display in Porthleven where Lanyon spent a large amount of his time, and for the locals to enjoy. I contacted a local café which had a large white wall, which Is where I hoped to put it. Thankfully they were very co-operative and delighted that I wanted to display it there. 
I invited locals, my Art teacher, the local newspaper and the deputy Mayor of Porthleven to come and join me for the reveal. It was a great success and still a feature on the side of the café now. I have even created cards since then with the picture on it for visitors of the café as they informed me that people were asking for them. Even though this event was small scaled it was a very proud moment for me and took strategic planning.
