FESTIVAL-NO.6.png

Festival No.6 gave me the privilege to travel to a quaint little village in the north of Wales called Porthmerion. A place I had visited when I was younger with family, so I was overjoyed when I was asked to help with the festival as an Artist Liason. Our job role was to be helping transport and correspond with the Artists when they arrived at the festival to help them travel to different stages and places in the village via golf buggies. Not only did I have to communicate with a large team of Artist Liaisons, I had to use my people skills when collecting the artists to ensure they had a pleasant reception to the festival. This role also required me to learn and memorize information quickly as there was little preparation time. As this is the last time the festival will go ahead, I feel so appreciative to have been a part of it.

This was an amazing experience and was well worth the eight-hour drive!

Skills used and developed during this project:

- Communication
- Team work
