CAST
Cornubian Arts and Science Trust
C.A.S.T took residency in the old Art School situated in the same town I went to school and college in. Myself and a few other students from college assisted the head of our art department, Elizabeth Dickinson, in raising money to help fund their new wood burner to heat the building. After this was achieved, I took part in workshops and other activities with the artists in residence whilst studying at college. When the Tate starting joining forces with C.A.S.T I was able to network and make relationships with employee’s there.

SAMHAIN
After expressing my willingness to get involved I was able to help organise their first halloween event.
This was a pagan inspired event that was also vital to help CAST establish themselves in the community. I helped with distributing the posters and assisting Josie Cockram where possible.
On the night I helped on the door whilst also acted as a runner to help with any emergencies that took place during the evening. Fortuanlty other than minor hiccups the evening ran smoothly and was a success.
ART LAB
After helping with Samhain I was contacted to assist Lucy Grant during an Art Lab session that took place in CAST. This was an amazing opportunity where I helped with the whole duration of the event and was able to work with younger children. It was a great experienced and refreshed my ability of working with a much younger gengeration.
